【解説】「ご健在ですか」と聞くとき，stillを使うのに抵抗があるかもしれませんが，これは失礼な言葉ではありません。ただし，stillにアクセントを置くのは失礼なので気をつけましょう。「亡くなる」をdie ではなく，pass awayという婉曲的な言い方をすることもできます。deceasedはdeadよりやわらかな言い方です。
